X5主要部件均为高密度强度不锈钢。采用精密异形钢的成型方式，通过几十次淬火和冷却、拉伸，直接成型，不用于板型钢，有更高强度支撑，超薄4.9mm而不需要加强筋。飞檐是中国建筑中常用的设计，可以将建筑以美学形式水平延伸，创造出气场的视觉效果。通过适当地扩展音响的两端，让电视分离音响之上。使电视呈现浮空印画的感觉。
用户价值
X5量子点120%色域和曲面等高新技术，使电视可以给用户带来更加丰富真实的画面。放大了的前出式扬声器的设计，可以配置更大的升级的器件，同时把容积隐藏至电视背后，搭配杜比ATMOS技术。给用户带来更清晰准确；更强大的高保真音质。提升了观影的整体体验。
商业表现
该产品X5用于替代销量为100K的X3. 商业计划为90-100K台。毛利为1.1亿人民币。目前按世界杯节点上市，已形成脱销。
社会影响
行业内首创实现了整机曲面加量子点技术，实际机身厚度仅4.9mm。并和哈曼卡顿合作推出新一代的音箱，搭配杜比ATMOS技术，让用户轻松享受高质量的影音体验。
团队组织
本项目的工业设计阶段，一共有6名设计师参与了全程设计
他们分别负责工业设计，工业设计结构工程转换，产品故事，产品包装等方面设计工作，确保了设计从概念到设计交付的高水准和行业领先性。
流程方法
基于用户思维的框架，进行了调研访谈，用户画像，用户体验旅程图等方法。设计师深入一线卖场和用户家中去观察和发现问题，从用户居家环境着手，发掘了用户对家居娱乐的潜在需求，以此为设计突破点，大胆尝试整体新的设计形式，带给用户惊喜。
项目投入
项目花费6个月时间，研发费用投入1800万元。总投入3789万元
达成情况
X5的设计，是在材料、工艺、结构等方面不断挑战自我，立足创新。金属边框采用冷轧异形成型的不锈钢，并一体折弯等工艺，呈现出屏幕无边的极致视觉效果，而配合无螺丝金属背板设计，最终实现了4.9毫米的超薄机身（屏幕区域）。
Project Description
The cornice is a design commonly used in architecture, which can lift the building up or extend it horizontally in the form of beauty, creating the visual effect of magnificent. X5 is inspiratied by extending both sides of the speaker, raising the visual gravity center of the television, to create the floating visual effect.
User Value
X5 has The front firing speakers transmit the sound directly to the user giving surprisingly good sound quality for the product category. The bottom picture frame and the speaker front are integrated in one element added with acoustic cloth material – visually bringing the sound and picture closer and easy to read.
Business Performance
X5 is taking place of X3 which sales volume of 100K. The business plan is 90-100K units. Gross profit is 110 million RMB.
Social Impact
X5 has quantum dot and curve screen technology with thickness of 4.9mm. We cooperative with acoustics company. And provide users to enjoy high-quality video experience.
Team Structure
In the industrial design phases of the project,6 ID designers participated in the whole process design.They are responsible for the industrial design, product stories, and product packaging, which ensure the high level and industry leadership of the design from concept to design delivery.
Flow
As user thinking, we conducted research interviews, user profiles, use journey and so on. The designer goes to the shop and the user's home to observe and discover the problem and insignt. potential needs of users at home.
Project Investment
The project took 6 months. The R & D cost was 18 million yuan. The total investment of the project is 37 million 890 thousand yuan
Project Achievements
X5 is constantly challenging ourselves and innovating in terms of materials, technology and structure. Frame is made of stainless steel with special shape in cold rolled tech. The 4.9 millimeter thickness of TV has been successfully implemented.
