The lamp showcases an attractive streamlined silhouette that suggests airflow for good thermal efficiency while adding an elegant touch to professional luminaires. The structural details on the exterior are visually concealed within the heatsinks that prevent water accumulation, contributing to a sleek appearance. This compact design is produced through a die-casting process that uses over 25% less material compared to the previous model. The range features flexible spigot adjustment to accommodate various installation needs for road and street applications. The upgraded optical system generates 22% more light output while consuming less energy than the previous model, thanks to an improved power supply control. This range is designed with biodiversity in mind, making it suitable for environmentally sensitive areas, offering options for low blue-spectrum colour temperatures in road and street lighting. The toolless opening feature of the gearbox simplifies maintenance and system upgrades, allowing specifiers to work more safely and efficiently.

We target 7 million Euros in sales a year and strive to keep the leading position in the road lamp industry in Greater China by providing a sustainable offer with energy-saving and carbon reduction as the key drivers.

The vision of Signify is to provide high-quality lighting to the professional market in a responsible manner. Fewer resources are used for production while creating brighter, better light that serves users with lower power consumption. Additionally, this range also considers environmentally sensitive areas for road and street lighting and offers options for low blue-spectrum colour temperatures.

The designer worked in close collaboration with a product manager and multiple engineers. Our proven Cocreate tools and methodology can be applied at every level of the design process.
